On 24 July 2026, the domain ethercum.org was observed as an active impersonation of the Ethereum brand. The site, created on 13 August 2025 and registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., serves a single page whose title is “ETHBT”. The page title, combined with the declared scam type “Crypto Scam”, indicates an attempt to lure users seeking Ethereum‑related services. Technical analysis shows the domain resolves to the IPv6 address 2a06:98c1:3121::3, which belongs to Cloudflare’s network (AS13335, United States). The domain uses Cloudflare’s DNS infrastructure (bart.ns.cloudflare.com, brit.ns.cloudflare.com) and enforces HSTS while supporting HTTP/3.
