PhishDestroy threat report
barrylane.shop is a fraudulent web store dressed up as the online shop of Barry's Tea, the well-known Irish tea brand, under the page title "Online Store | Irish Tea Delivery | Barry's Tea". Its targets are fans of the brand, including Irish expats abroad, who search for tea delivery and land on what looks like an official outlet. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-11. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop content.
Fake shops like this borrow a trusted brand's name and product imagery, then list stock at prices or with delivery promises attractive enough to prompt a quick checkout. The buyer enters their name, shipping address, email and card details, pays, and receives either nothing or a cheap item unrelated to the order. Card details captured at checkout can be reused for further charges, and the contact details are often recycled into follow-up phishing. The name "barrylane" sounds close enough to the brand to pass a quick glance, but it is not a Barry's Tea property.
On 2026-10-16, eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. The count is modest, but these vendors work independently of one another and agree on the verdict. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically marked it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, showing that other researchers have tracked it as well.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-13, about three months before PhishDestroy flagged it. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, a long way from the Irish brand it imitates. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a browser padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
If you paid on this site, contact your card issuer or bank right away to dispute the charge and ask for a replacement card. Watch your statements for small test transactions. Treat any later emails or texts about your "order", delivery fees or refunds as likely phishing. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other services. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP and report it to the registrar and host, and Barry's Tea may want to pursue a brand-abuse takedown.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
