PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-10-04, and as of 2026-10-18 the site remains fully active with live content.
How the scam works
The page title 'Crafting Stories to Amplify Light | Angel Studios Gift Factory' mimics a legitimate Angel Studios merchandise or fan-engagement portal, enticing visitors to connect their crypto wallets to claim gifts, mint tokens or participate in a promotion. Once a wallet is connected, the Angel Drainer kit requests broad token approvals or triggers malicious transactions that transfer the victim's assets to attacker-controlled addresses. The victim loses cryptocurrency and any tokens held in the connected wallet, often without a clear on-screen warning that anything has gone wrong.

Ten of 92 antivirus and threat-intelligence engines on VirusTotal flagged this domain as malicious as of 2026-10-07, with detections from alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and separately flagged the site as a fake shop. Four OTX threat-intelligence pulses reference this domain, and it appears on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
