PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

webdivindeub.com presents itself as Netflix, down to a page title that reads simply "Netflix", but the domain has no connection to the streaming service. It targets Netflix subscribers who arrive through links in fake account or payment notices. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its phishing content live.

How the scam works

Netflix phishing usually starts with a message claiming a payment failed, an account is on hold, or a membership needs to be updated. The link leads to a page styled like the Netflix sign-in or billing screen, where the victim enters an email, password and often card details. Everything typed goes to the operators. Stolen accounts are resold or reused on other services where the same password works, and card numbers are used for fraudulent purchases.

Evidence

On 2026-10-03, 16 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, Ermes and Gridinsoft. That is a minority of engines, but the detections come from independent vendors that reached the same conclusion. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Netflix branding on it. The domain appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-23 through TUCOWS.COM, CO., only two days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a domain bought specifically to run this campaign. The site is hosted on InMotion Hosting, Inc. in the United States. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only shows that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered your Netflix password here, change it immediately from the official Netflix app or site. Sign out of all devices, and change the same password anywhere else you reused it. If you submitted card details, call your bank to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Watch for follow-up emails or texts that pretend to be Netflix support. Security teams should block webdivindeub.com at the DNS and proxy level, search mail logs for messages linking to it, and report it to the hosting provider and registrar for takedown.
