PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

vulowin.com is a young domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist. No impersonated brand or specific scheme has been pinned to it yet. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09, just ten days after it was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still alive, and visiting it sends you to another destination rather than showing content of its own.

How the scam works

The domain does not host a page of its own. It forwards visitors elsewhere, which is a common pattern for throwaway domains that steer traffic to a page the operator can swap at will. Today's landing page might ask for a login, a seed phrase or a deposit, and the request can change from one visit to the next. Because the domain is new, redirects, and is flagged by several independent security vendors, treat anything it asks you to sign, type or pay as hostile.

Evidence

On 2026-10-17, five of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a low count, but these five sources work independently, so their agreement on a domain this new carries weight. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as part of malicious activity. PhishDestroy is currently the only blocklist listing it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-29 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown. It was already drawing attention within days, a timeline typical of disposable domains built for a short campaign. It resolves to an address on the SKN Subnet & Telecom Ltd network, which is registered in Saint Kitts and Nevis, while the server geolocates to Switzerland. Its Let's Encrypt certificate only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.

What to do

Do not follow the redirect or interact with whatever page it leads to. If you entered a password there, change it on the real service and on any account that reuses it, then turn on two-factor authentication. If you sent money or crypto, do not send more for any claimed fee or unlock. Save the transaction details and report them to your exchange or bank. Security teams should block vulowin.com at DNS and proxy level and check logs for earlier visits to it.
