How the scam works

In wallet‑phishing attacks the attacker presents a seemingly legitimate offer—such as a reward, vote or claim—and prompts the victim to link their cryptocurrency wallet. Once the wallet is connected, the attacker can obtain signing permissions that allow them to move funds without further user interaction.
