PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

us05webzoom.live is an impersonation phishing page posing as Zoom. Its name copies the regional prefix found in genuine Zoom meeting links, so a fake invite looks routine at a glance. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-07. It was still alive and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake Zoom domains are usually sent as a meeting invitation, often after a staged business or investment conversation. The page then asks the visitor to sign in, which hands over account credentials. It may instead push a fake 'update' or meeting client, which is how wallet-stealing malware reaches a device. MetaMask and SEAL both list this domain, which points to crypto holders as a key target. The page title currently reads 'Attention Required! | Cloudflare', a security-check screen, while our classification is a Zoom impersonation phishing page.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and recognized Zoom branding on it. On 2026-10-08, VirusTotal showed 7 of 92 engines flagging it: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Netcraft and Webroot. That is a modest count, but it comes from several independent vendors. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-05 through Spaceship, Inc. It was being reported only two days later, the quick turnaround typical of throwaway phishing domains. It sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335, US), which hides the origin server's real address. A free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the padlock icon, so the padlock alone says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

Join meetings only through links you can confirm with the organizer, or straight from the Zoom app. If you entered a login on this site, change your Zoom password and any password you reused. Then turn on two-factor authentication and sign out other sessions. If you downloaded or ran anything from the page, disconnect the device and scan it. Treat any wallet on that device as exposed and move funds to a new wallet created on a clean machine. Defenders should block the domain, search mail and chat logs for invites containing it, and report it to Zoom and Cloudflare.
