Overview

tronveil.xyz presents itself as a "USDT Privacy Sender" for the TRC-20 standard, targeting TRON network users who want to send Tether privately. PhishDestroy first flagged the site on 2026-09-12, and as of 2026-10-18 it remains fully live with active content. The domain was registered on 2026-06-09, giving it a short operational history consistent with a purpose-built fraud site.

How the scam works

The site lures TRON users with the promise of privacy-enhanced USDT transfers, a feature that does not exist as a legitimate TRC-20 service. To use the supposed tool, victims are prompted to connect their crypto wallet, at which point the drainer requests broad token approvals or triggers a malicious signing transaction. Once the victim signs, the attacker's contract silently sweeps USDT and potentially other tokens from the wallet without any further interaction required from the victim.

Evidence

Seven of 89 engines on VirusTotal flagged tronveil.xyz as malicious as of 2026-09-24; vendors include alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, and Webroot. The domain appears in four OTX threat-intelligence pulses, adding independent corroboration from the security community. Spamhaus classifies it as DBL_SPAM, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
