PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

trezorsuite-ap.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that borrows the name of Trezor Suite, the official companion app for Trezor hardware wallets, to attract people looking to manage their device online. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still up and serving its content, so anyone searching for Trezor software can still land on it.

How the scam works

The page presents itself as "SeedGuard Suite — Web3 App for Secure Crypto & Hardware Wallet Management". Fake wallet suites like this usually claim the device needs syncing, an update or a security check, then prompt the visitor to type in their recovery phrase. Real Trezor software never asks for those words on a website. Anyone who enters them gives the attacker full control of the wallet, and the funds can be moved without the hardware device. The page shows a SeedGuard name while the domain uses Trezor's product name, and we classified it as a Trezor impersonation.

Evidence

Detection by antivirus engines is thin. Only 4 of 91 VirusTotal engines (alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, LevelBlue and VIPRE) flagged it as of 2026-09-29, so most security tools would let a visitor through without warning. Crypto-focused blocklists cover it more fully: besides PhishDestroy, it is listed by MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed. That matters for wallet users, because MetaMask's list can trigger a warning even when a general antivirus stays silent.

Infrastructure

The site is a free Cloudflare Pages project created on 2026-07-30, about seven weeks before PhishDestroy flagged it. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. address space geolocated in Canada. Free pages.dev subdomains cost nothing and can be recreated quickly, so similar Trezor-themed copies under new project names are likely.

What to do

If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a new phrase on your Trezor and move any remaining funds immediately. Do not reuse the exposed phrase or any passphrase you entered. Install Trezor Suite only from Trezor's official site, and never enter your seed words into any website. Defenders should block the domain, report the pages.dev project to Cloudflare's abuse team, and watch for other pages.dev subdomains that use Trezor or SeedGuard names.
