PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

tr.meritking-giris22.net is on the PhishDestroy blocklist as a suspicious domain. Its name combines the Meritking brand with "giris", the Turkish word for login or entry, a numbered suffix and a "tr" prefix, so it appears built to catch Turkish-speaking users looking for a way into that service. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-09. On 2026-10-19 the server was still responding, but it returned no usable page content.

How the scam works

The server currently answers with a "403 Forbidden" page instead of a login form or site content. That page does not by itself show a specific scheme, and PhishDestroy has not yet classified one. The risk comes from the hostname. A numbered address that looks like a login mirror for a known brand gives no proof that the brand operates it. Anything entered on such a site, such as account credentials, personal details or payments, can go to whoever controls the domain.

Evidence

Nine of the 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-16. Those raising the alarm include Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, PhishFort, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a minority of engines, but it includes established vendors and a phishing-focused service. Spamhaus also lists the domain in its DBL as a spam source, which suggests it has been promoted through unsolicited messages. Apart from PhishDestroy, no other blocklist carries it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-07-26 through Cloudflare, Inc. and reached PhishDestroy's blocklist within two weeks. A brand-new domain that gets flagged this quickly fits a short-lived mirror rather than a long-standing official site. It resolves to 130.12.180.241 on the Omegatech LTD network in the Netherlands.

What to do

If you entered a username and password here, change that password right away, along with any other account that reuses it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you made a payment or shared card or bank details, contact your bank or payment provider now and ask about blocking or disputing the charge. Reach any service you use only by typing its address yourself, not through numbered mirror links sent in messages. Defenders should block the domain and the 130.12.180.241 address at DNS and proxy level. They should also search mail and chat logs for links to it, given the Spamhaus spam listing.
