Overview

tohewin.com is an impersonation phishing site. It poses as a legitimate service so that visitors will trust it with logins, personal details or funds. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-25. As of 2026-10-19 it was still online and answering requests with a redirect, so the threat remains active.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites borrow the look, wording and branding of a known service and rely on a lookalike name or a link shared in ads, direct messages or search results. The page title reads "301 Moved Permanently", and the site currently forwards visitors to another destination rather than serving its own content, while we classify the domain as impersonation phishing. In schemes of this kind, the redirect leads to a cloned login, wallet or payment page. Anything typed there, including passwords, one-time codes or transfer details, goes straight to the operators.

Evidence

Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-03: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That count is modest, but it comes from six unrelated vendors that reached the same conclusion independently. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it. PhishDestroy is so far the only blocklist listing it, so many browsers and filters may not warn users yet.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-08 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, just 17 days before PhishDestroy caught it. A short gap like that is typical of throwaway domains bought for a single campaign. Traffic is routed through Cloudflare, Inc., with the address geolocating to Canada, which hides the origin server behind a shared network.

What to do

If you entered a password on or after visiting tohewin.com, change it right away on the genuine service and on any other account that uses the same password. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you submitted card or bank details or sent a payment, contact your bank or payment provider today to dispute the charge. Do not send any further money the site or its contacts request. Defenders should block the domain at the DNS and proxy level, search logs for any visits since 2026-09-08, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar so it can be taken down.
