PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

standpromoc.site is on the PhishDestroy blocklist as a suspicious domain. It shows no branded page of its own. Its page title is just the bare domain name, and visitors are sent onward through a redirect. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-12, and as of 2026-10-19 it was still online and redirecting.

How the scam works

The page title names no brand or service, so the site gives no clue about what it is pretending to be. The real risk is the redirect. A visitor who lands here does not stay on standpromoc.site but is passed to another destination, which can change at any time and can ask for logins, wallet connections or payments. The "promo" wording in the name fits the giveaway and bonus-code lures common in crypto fraud. Treat any reward, code or offer reached through this domain as hostile.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-16: BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but several of these vendors maintain their own threat feeds. Their detections are independent of each other and of PhishDestroy. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to tracked malicious activity. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it so far.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-11 through Global Domain Group LLC, about a month before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains set up for one campaign. It resolves to a server on AS207043 DEDIK SERVICES LIMITED, a dedicated-server network located in Germany. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock in the browser. The padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is safe.

What to do

If you clicked through standpromoc.site, look at where the redirect took you. Do not enter credentials, promo codes or payment details there. If you typed a password on a page reached this way, change it right away and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a crypto wallet or signed anything, revoke the approvals with a token-approval checker and move funds you care about to a fresh wallet. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP at the DNS and proxy level. They should also check logs for users who visited it after 2026-09-11.
