Overview

spectrum-webmail-loginzs.framer.website is a credential phishing page posing as a Spectrum webmail login. It targets Spectrum customers who use the provider's email service. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-08-22. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, and on our last check on 2026-10-19 the root returned no content.

How the scam works

The page carried the title "Sign In to Get Started" and was built as a copy of a Spectrum webmail login, hosted as a subdomain on the Framer site builder. The "webmail-loginzs" name is meant to look like an official sign-in address to anyone who arrives from a link in an email or text. Victims who type their Spectrum email address and password hand those credentials straight to the operator. A hijacked mailbox can then be used to reset passwords on other accounts, read private mail and send further phishing from a trusted address.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Spectrum branding on it. On VirusTotal, 17 of 91 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-02, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That count comes from a varied mix of vendors, which supports the verdict. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

Because the page sat on a subdomain of a site-building platform, the operator did not need to register a domain of their own. The parent domain's registrar is CSC Corporate Domains, Inc., which says nothing about who built this page. Hosting resolved to Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the Netherlands. The Let's Encrypt certificate gave the page the padlock icon, so the padlock alone was no sign it was safe.

What to do

If you entered your Spectrum email credentials on this page, change your Spectrum password right away. Also change it on any other service where you used the same password. Turn on two-step verification if it is available. Then review your mailbox for forwarding rules, unfamiliar recovery addresses and messages sent without your knowledge. Watch for password-reset emails you did not request. Defenders should block the hostname, search mail logs for messages linking to it, and alert users who clicked so they can reset their credentials.
