PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

sky-tickets.store is an impersonation phishing page that urlscan.io matched to the brand it tags "sfrfr", its label for the French telecom operator SFR. The targets are SFR customers and anyone tricked into believing they are dealing with that provider. PhishDestroy first caught it on 2026-09-08. As of 2026-10-19 the server still responds, but the phishing content is no longer reachable through DNS. The domain name hints at tickets and the page title is the generic "Service", while the detected brand is a telecom operator.

How the scam works

Pages like this copy a trusted company's look and are usually pushed through texts or emails about an unpaid bill, a refund, a blocked line or a pending service issue. The bland "Service" title fits a page built to pass as a routine account or customer-service screen. Victims are asked to sign in and then to confirm identity or payment details. Whatever they type goes to the operators: account passwords, personal data and card numbers, which are then used for fraud, account takeover or SIM-related abuse.

Evidence

On VirusTotal, 8 of 89 engines flag the domain as of 2026-09-21: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, PhishFort and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but these are established security vendors and a phishing specialist reaching the same conclusion independently. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict with the SFR brand match. Spamhaus lists it in its domain blocklist as DBL_PHISH, PhishDestroy blocks it, and it appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-06-01 through NameCheap, Inc., about three months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was registered in advance and held until a campaign was ready to launch. It is hosted on Namecheap, Inc. network space in the US, with a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you entered an SFR or other account password here, change it immediately, along with any account that reuses it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you gave card details, call your bank to block the card and dispute unfamiliar charges. If you shared identity or phone details, ask SFR to watch for SIM-swap or porting requests. Delete the message that brought you here and treat follow-up "support" contacts with suspicion. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and mail gateways, search logs for past visits, and warn users about telecom-themed lures.
