PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

skinsgrade.com is an impersonation phishing page. Its name is styled after the game-skin trading scene, where users sign in to value, trade or cash out in-game items. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-03, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. The page currently shows only the title "Loading", which does not reveal the brand it copies, but we classify it as impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Sites like this copy the look and flow of a legitimate trading or grading service and then push visitors through a fake sign-in, often a lookalike gaming-platform login window. Whatever is typed there, including username, password and sometimes a one-time code, goes straight to the operators. With that access they can take over the account, move items and lock the owner out. A bare "Loading" title fits a page that renders its lure only after scripts run.

Evidence

When VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-05, 6 of 91 engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so many security tools will not block the site yet. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as spam, which is an independent signal from outside PhishDestroy. One AlienVault OTX pulse also references it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-09-02, about a month before we detected it. That short gap is typical of domains set up for a single campaign. It resolves to 46.29.26.38 on the M/S ROBI TRADERS network, which is registered in Bangladesh, while the server itself geolocates to Finland. The free Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock icon in the browser proves nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you entered a gaming or trading account login on skinsgrade.com, change that password right away from the official site or app. Turn on or reset two-factor authentication, sign out all active sessions, and revoke any API keys or trade links you may have exposed. Check your inventory and trade history for transfers you did not make, and report them to the platform's support. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level and look in logs for users who visited after 2026-09-02.
