sitemujrfn7witew.xyz was an impersonation phishing page that presented itself as "Zama: The Confidential Blockchain Protocol". It targeted crypto users who follow the Zama project and might trust a page carrying its name. PhishDestroy flagged it on 2026-09-27, the same day the domain was registered. The site has been offline since 2026-09-30, and it was still dead with inactive DNS when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The page borrowed Zama's branding and tagline to pass as an official project site. The random-looking domain name has no connection to Zama. Impersonation pages like this usually sit behind links in social posts, replies or direct messages. They push visitors to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or approve token access, often framed as a claim, mint or early-access step. Once a victim signs, the attacker can move assets out of the wallet. Some variants also ask for a seed phrase, which hands over the wallet entirely.
Evidence
The classification is backed by wallet-security blocklists. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, so many wallet users would have seen a warning before the page loaded. VirusTotal coverage was thin: on 2026-09-29, 4 of 91 engines flagged it (alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar). Infrastructure
The whole operation lasted about three days. The domain was registered through Eranet International Limited on 2026-09-27, detected that same day, and offline by 2026-09-30. That pattern fits a throwaway domain meant to be used briefly and discarded. The site ran behind Cloudflare's network, with the IP geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock icon said nothing about legitimacy.
