PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

sf-studios-ledger.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, and is aimed at people who hold crypto on Ledger devices. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving content. Its page title reads "Studio Ledger — Invoicing & Time", which suggests an invoicing tool, but we classified the site as Ledger impersonation.

How the scam works

Ledger impersonation pages usually claim the visitor's device needs a firmware update, a security check or a wallet sync. They then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase, or prompt the visitor to connect a wallet and sign a transaction. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own hardware and move every asset out within minutes, and blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. Ledger never asks for a recovery phrase on a website, so any page that does is an attempt to empty the wallet.

Evidence

VirusTotal detection is still thin: 4 of 91 engines flagged the site on 2026-09-29, namely alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, VIPRE and Webroot. Crypto-focused defenses back the classification more strongly. The domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL alongside PhishDestroy, so MetaMask users should see a warning before the page loads. Generic antivirus coverage is low, so a clean scan of this site should not be read as a sign it is safe.

The site is a free subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, created on 2026-08-19, which is 27 days before PhishDestroy detected it. It is served from Cloudflare's network with a Canadian geolocation. Static hosting like this lets operators launch a convincing page in minutes and replace it quickly if it gets taken down. What to do

If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new seed on your Ledger, or reset the device, and move any remaining funds there immediately, before trying anything else. If you connected a wallet or signed something, check for and revoke token approvals you do not recognise. Only update firmware through Ledger's official desktop or mobile app. Defenders should block the domain, add the full pages.dev hostname to filters, and report it to Cloudflare's abuse channel so the page can be removed.
