PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

sefa14.com is an impersonation phishing site that poses as a legitimate service so visitors trust it with their logins or wallet access. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-17. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still resolves, but its page content no longer loads. A dead page today can come back tomorrow, so the domain should still be treated as hostile.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look of a trusted brand: its logo, layout and login or wallet-connect flow. A victim who arrives through a link, ad or message believes they are on the real site and types in a password, a one-time code or a recovery phrase. Those details go straight to the operator, who uses them to take over accounts or empty wallets. The page title currently reads "Powered by CapRover", the default placeholder of a self-hosted deployment platform, even though we classified the site as impersonation phishing.

Evidence

The verdict does not rest on our blocklist alone. On 2026-09-29, 16 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet, a spread of commercial vendors and community anti-phishing projects. The domain also appears in six AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently. PhishDestroy lists it on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-11-07 through Realtime Register B.V., about ten months before we flagged it. That gap points to a domain held in reserve or reused rather than one spun up for a single burst. It runs on DigitalOcean in the United States. The CapRover-issued certificate and matching page title show a rented cloud server managed with the CapRover platform, which lets an operator redeploy or swap page content quickly.

What to do

If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately on the genuine service and anywhere else you reuse it. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication and review recent logins and active sessions. If you typed in a seed phrase or private key, assume the wallet is compromised and move any remaining assets to a new wallet created on a clean device. Defenders should block the domain and its DigitalOcean IP at DNS and proxy layers, and search mail and web logs for users who reached it.
