secure-docusign.com borrows the DocuSign name and adds the word "secure" to look like an official signing portal. Its likely targets are people who receive document-signing requests and click through without checking the address. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-11, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19. The page currently carries the title "ThriveDX — Page not found", which does not match the DocuSign impersonation we classified.
How the scam works
DocuSign-themed phishing usually starts with an email or message saying a contract, invoice or HR document is waiting for a signature. The link leads to a page styled like a signing service that asks the visitor to log in, often with a work email or Microsoft or Google account, before the document is shown. Whatever is typed goes to the operator, who can then take over the mailbox, search it for financial details, or send more lures from a trusted address. The victim loses account access and, often, the trust of their contacts.
Evidence
Detection is still thin. On 2026-10-12, 4 of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Gridinsoft. Stronger support comes from blocklists, since MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. It also appears in 2 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
