Overview

rebnox.com presents itself as "Rebnox | Decentralized Web3 Gambling Site with Provable Trust" and targets crypto holders looking for on-chain betting. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page and first flagged it on 2026-09-15. The page title shows a self-branded gambling service, while our classification is impersonation phishing. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and serving a redirect, so it can still reach new victims.

How the scam works

Fake Web3 casinos rely on the language of "provable fairness" and decentralization to make a wallet connection or deposit feel safe. Visitors are pushed to connect a wallet to play. That step can hand over token approvals or signatures that let the operators move funds, or it can lead to deposits into an account that never pays out. Victims lose whatever they deposit or approve. Transfers on the blockchain cannot be reversed.

Evidence

Fourteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flag the domain, including BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. urlscan.io rates the page malicious and matches it to generic crypto-scam patterns. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL as phishing. MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet users get a warning before connecting. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Tucows Domains Inc. on 2026-07-07, about ten weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a site built and launched specifically for this campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare, with an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. A Google Trust Services certificate gives it the padlock icon, but that only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to rebnox.com, review and revoke any token approvals granted during that session. If you signed unfamiliar messages, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. Do not send further deposits or pay any "unlock" or withdrawal fee to recover a balance shown on the site. Record transaction hashes and report them to your wallet provider and local authorities. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and add it to wallet and browser warning lists.
