Overview

ravnkapito.shop presents itself as "Ravn Kapitø | AI Trading Platform | Official Direct Gateway" and is an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking for automated crypto or AI-driven trading returns. The "Official Direct Gateway" wording is meant to convince visitors they have reached the genuine sign-up point rather than a copy. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-17. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Fake AI trading portals like this one draw visitors in with promises of effortless, algorithm-driven profits. They then collect a name, email and phone number through a registration form. Those details typically go to callers posing as account managers, who push victims to make a first deposit and then larger ones. The dashboard shows invented gains, and when the victim tries to cash out, new "fees" or "taxes" appear. Everything deposited is lost, and the personal data handed over is often reused in follow-up recovery scams.

Evidence

On 2026-09-29, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. That is a meaningful spread of independent vendors, though most engines had not yet caught up. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, showing that other researchers are tracking it, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-07-27, about seven weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is consistent with a site that was prepared and then promoted to victims. It resolves to 188.114.97.3, an address located in the US. The HTTPS certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the platform is legitimate.

Do not register, deposit or reply to anyone claiming to represent Ravn Kapitø through this site. If you already sent money, stop all further payments, ignore any demand for withdrawal or unlock fees, and report the transfers to your bank, card issuer or the exchange you sent from as soon as possible.
