PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

rainbet-casino.pages.dev is a crypto gambling site that PhishDestroy classifies as fraudulent. It uses a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain with a casino-style name to attract players looking for an online crypto casino. We first flagged it on 2026-09-09. It has been offline since 2026-09-17, and on 2026-10-19 it was still dead, with the content blocked by the hosting provider.

How the scam works

Fraudulent casinos like this offer bonuses, fast payouts and crypto-only deposits. Once a player funds an account, balances and winnings appear on screen, but withdrawals stall behind verification steps, minimum turnover rules or extra fees, and the money never leaves the platform. Victims lose whatever they deposit, plus any fees paid trying to unlock a withdrawal. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen rather than casino content, while our classification covers the gambling operation that was there before the block.

Evidence

On 2026-09-18, VirusTotal showed 12 of 89 engines marking the site as malicious. The flagging vendors include crypto-focused ChainPatrol and mainstream security vendors BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai and LevelBlue. Agreement from both crypto-specific and general vendors makes a mistaken verdict unlikely. The domain is also listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users who rely on those protections would be warned.

Infrastructure

The Pages project appeared on 2026-09-07, and it took two days to land on our blocklist. It ran on Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. Like many short-lived scam sites, it used a free hosting subdomain that is quick to set up and quick to replace. Cloudflare took the content offline about eight days after our first detection, on 2026-09-17.

What to do

If you deposited crypto here, stop sending funds, and do not pay any "withdrawal fee", tax or verification charge to release a balance. Those payments are part of the theft. Save your transaction hashes, deposit addresses and any chat logs with "support". Report the loss to your local fraud authority and to the exchange you sent funds from. Change any password you reused on the site. Defenders should block the domain and watch for new casino-themed subdomains on free hosting platforms.
