PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

quvtrani.shop is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as viphentai, carrying the page title "viphentai.org – viphentai" on an unrelated .shop domain. It targets people who believe they are visiting that adult content site. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19, and it was still online and serving content as of 2026-10-19. The page title points to an adult video site rather than a financial or crypto brand, and we classify the domain as impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Lookalike copies of popular adult sites usually reach visitors through pop-under ads, redirect chains or search results, so the visitor assumes they are on the genuine site. Once trust is established, these clones typically ask for an account login, a "premium" or age-verification payment, or card details, or they push browser notification permissions and downloads. Visitors to such sites can lose reused passwords, card numbers and personal information. Some of these clones also expose visitors to follow-on fraud or malware.

Evidence

On 2026-09-29, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The flagging vendors include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai and ADMINUSLabs. Agreement among that many independent engines, several of them major consumer security vendors, gives strong outside support for the classification. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. Among blocklists, PhishDestroy currently lists it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-05-16, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolves to 94.154.172.92 on AS209101 (IP Vendetta Inc.) in the Netherlands. The Let's Encrypt certificate means the browser padlock only confirms an encrypted connection, not that the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you signed in on quvtrani.shop, change that password at once, along with any other account that uses the same password, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered card details or paid for a membership or verification, contact your bank to block the card and dispute the charge. Remove any browser notification permission the site was granted and scan any file it made you download. Defenders should block the domain and 94.154.172.92 at DNS and proxy level and check logs for users who visited it.
