PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

prime-profit.net is an impersonation phishing site that poses as a legitimate service to win the trust of crypto users. Its name promises profit, which suits a page meant to lure people chasing returns. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-29, and the site was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages borrow the look and authority of a trusted brand so visitors drop their guard. They then ask the victim to log in, enter a recovery phrase, connect a wallet or send funds. The browser tab here reads only "Home", a generic title that does not name the brand being copied, while our classification is based on the impersonation itself. Anything typed into or approved on a page like this goes straight to the operators. That can mean stolen account access, a drained wallet or deposits that are never returned.

Evidence

Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-03: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a minority of engines, so many security products may still let the site load without a warning. Two crypto-focused blocklists list it alongside PhishDestroy: MetaMask's, which wallet users rely on for in-app warnings, and SEAL's. One AlienVault OTX threat pulse also references it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-05-20 through HOSTINGER operations, UAB, more than sixteen months before PhishDestroy caught it. That long gap points to a domain held in reserve or run quietly before it surfaced as a threat. The site is hosted in Malaysia on Shinjiru Technology Sdn Bhd's network. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the address bar says nothing about whether the site is honest.

What to do

Do not log in, deposit or connect a wallet on prime-profit.net. If you entered a password, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you typed a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move the funds to a new one at once. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you granted. Defenders should block the domain and the hosting address 101.99.94.17, and add both to mail and web filters.
