PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

pornsfamily.com is an impersonation phishing page that copies the look of a legitimate service to win a visitor's trust. Its page title, "Explore · pons", resembles the browse screen of a real app or marketplace but names no recognizable brand. Its listing on ScamSniffer, a Web3-focused blocklist, points to crypto users as the intended audience. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-25, and the site was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the interface of a service the victim already trusts so that a login prompt or wallet pop-up looks routine. The "Explore · pons" title fits that approach: the victim lands on what appears to be a familiar discovery page, then is asked to sign in, connect a wallet or confirm an action. Anything entered there goes to the operators. That can include account credentials, recovery phrases, or a wallet signature that hands over control of assets.

Evidence

Detection by other vendors is still thin. On 2026-10-09, 4 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. ScamSniffer has independently blocklisted it alongside PhishDestroy, and the domain appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. With this low coverage, many browsers and security tools may still let the page load without a warning.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2026-09-17, just eight days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains that are set up and put to use quickly. The site sits behind Fastly, Inc. infrastructure in the US, and its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt (YR2). The padlock therefore only means the connection is encrypted, not that the site is genuine.

What to do

If you typed a password on this site, change it now on the real service and on any account that shares it, then turn on app-based 2FA. If you entered a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet whose phrase has never been typed into a website. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the approvals it granted with a token-approval checker. Defenders should block pornsfamily.com at DNS and proxy level and look in their logs for users who visited it.
