Its goal is to trick visitors into authorizing malicious transactions that empty their crypto holdings. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-09-13, just three days after it was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site's DNS is inactive, meaning it is no longer resolving, though the domain itself remains registered.

How the scam works

The site presents itself under the page title "Wallet connect," mimicking the legitimate WalletConnect interface to appear credible to DeFi and NFT users. Using the Wallet Connect Abuse drainer kit, the page prompts visitors to connect their software or hardware wallet, typically under the pretense of fixing a sync issue, claiming rewards, or verifying access. Once a wallet is connected and the user signs a transaction or grants a token approval, the drainer silently transfers all accessible assets to attacker-controlled addresses. Victims lose cryptocurrency and tokens instantly, with no recourse once the transaction is confirmed on-chain.
