PhishDestroy threat report
onlinepersonalcheck.online is a phishing page that impersonated Chase, presenting itself under the title "Chase Personal Banking" to lure the bank's retail customers. The domain name does not mention Chase at all. Its generic wording about a "personal check" fits the kind of link sent in a text or email about an account review. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-14, and the site has been dead since that same day. When last checked on 2026-10-19, its DNS was still inactive.
Pages like this copy the look of a bank's sign-in screen. Victims are usually pushed there by a message warning of a suspicious payment, a locked account or a required verification. Whatever is typed into the fake Chase form goes to the operators, starting with the username and password. Many such kits then ask for the one-time code, card number or personal identity details, which lets criminals sign in to the real account, move money or reset access. The loss is the banking login itself and everything it unlocks.
On 2026-09-14, none of the 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. That means routine antivirus and URL filters offered no warning while the page was live. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it. The classification rests on the page itself: a site titled "Chase Personal Banking" on a domain with no connection to the bank.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-07-15, roughly two months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is consistent with a domain parked ahead of a campaign rather than one used the day it was bought. It was hosted in the United States on the Aquiryn LLC network. The site went offline on the day it was flagged, suggesting a short active life.
If you entered your Chase login on this page, change your password through the official Chase app or by typing the bank's address yourself. Make sure two-step verification is turned on. If you also gave a card number, a one-time code or identity details, call Chase using the number on the back of your card. Review recent transactions, payees and linked devices, and expect follow-up calls or texts from people pretending to be the bank's fraud team. Security teams should block the domain and watch for new sites using the same "Chase Personal Banking" lure on unrelated names, since scanners missed this one entirely.
