PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

netrich.network presents itself as NetRich, with a plain "NetRich - Home" page title meant to pass as a real service's front page. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at people who believe they are dealing with a legitimate NetRich platform. We first flagged it on 2026-08-19. On 2026-10-19 the host was still answering, but DNS for its content was registering as inactive, so the page may reappear at any time.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages borrow a name and a polished homepage to look trustworthy. They then steer visitors toward an account login, a deposit, or a prompt to link a wallet. Anything typed or approved there goes to the operators, not to the brand being imitated. Victims can lose account credentials, money they "deposit" into a balance that never pays out, and, if they connect a wallet, control over its assets. The generic "Home" title gives no hint of this, which is exactly why the page relies on looking ordinary.

Evidence

On 2026-09-28, 6 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but the flags come from six unrelated vendors, which points to a real problem rather than one engine's mistake. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. It is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-03-05, roughly five and a half months before we detected it. That gap suggests it was set up well in advance or ran unnoticed for a while. It is hosted on a Namecheap, Inc. network in the US. Its Sectigo DV certificate only proves someone controls the domain, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is honest.

What to do

If you logged in on this site, change that password now, along with any other account that shares it, and turn on app-based 2FA. Do not send money to unlock a balance, pay a "fee" or recover funds, and report any payments to your bank or exchange. If you linked a wallet, revoke the approvals it granted and move your assets to a fresh wallet. Security teams should block netrich.network at DNS and proxy level and check logs for past visits. Also watch for lookalike NetRich domains registered through the same channels.
