Overview

marvalorivo-soft.com presented itself as the "Official Website" of MarValorivo, a compliance and rewriting product. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at people looking for that brand's tools or services. We first flagged it on 2026-09-14. The site has been offline since 2026-09-22, and as of 2026-10-19 its domain no longer resolves.

How the scam works

The page title, "MarValorivo | Compliance & Rewriting | Official Website", is built to convince visitors they have reached the genuine vendor. The "-soft" suffix in the domain suggests a software storefront or download portal. Impersonation pages like this typically ask visitors to sign in, register, pay for a licence or download an installer. Depending on what the visitor did, they could lose account credentials, payment details, or control of a device infected by a tampered download.

Evidence

On 2026-09-16, 17 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included ESET, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam project Chong Lua Dao. Agreement across that many unrelated vendors within two days of our first sighting is a strong signal. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers tracked it independently. Among the blocklists covered here, it is listed by PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through MainReg Inc. on 2026-03-04, roughly six months before it was detected. That gap fits a domain held in reserve before use. It was hosted on the Snel.com B.V. network in the Netherlands. Its certificate came from ZeroSSL's domain-validated CA, which only confirms who controls the domain, so the padlock said nothing about whether MarValorivo was involved. The site went dark about a week after the first detections.

What to do

If you entered a password on this site, change it on the real MarValorivo service and anywhere else you reused it, then turn on two-factor authentication. If you paid for a licence or subscription, contact your bank or card issuer, report the charge as fraud and ask about a chargeback. If you downloaded and ran any installer, disconnect the machine and run a full scan with up-to-date security software. Rotate any credentials that were stored on that machine. Defenders should block the domain and IP 185.62.57.28 and check proxy and DNS logs for visits between 2026-09-14 and 2026-09-22.
