PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

lusungulungu.icuprojects.online is an impersonation phishing page. It sits on a subdomain of a freshly registered parent domain and is built to pass itself off as a legitimate service so visitors trust it with their credentials or wallet. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16. It was still online and serving content when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a real brand, then wait for victims to arrive through ads, direct messages, search results or fake support replies. Anything typed into the page goes straight to the operator. That can include a login, a one-time code, a recovery phrase or a wallet confirmation, and it can cost the victim their account or their funds. When we checked, the page title read "403 Forbidden", while our classification is impersonation phishing.

Evidence

Seven of 91 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious on 2026-09-26. Those vendors were alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That is modest coverage, but it comes from several unrelated security vendors and it agrees with our own finding. PhishDestroy currently lists the domain on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-11 through HOSTINGER operations, UAB, and PhishDestroy detected it five days later. A gap that short is typical of throwaway phishing domains that are set up shortly before a campaign. The site resolves to 198.251.84.236 on the FranTech Solutions network in Luxembourg. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site can be trusted.

What to do

If you entered a password on this page, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that shares it. Then turn on app-based 2FA and sign out all active sessions. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move your remaining funds to a newly created wallet. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at the DNS, proxy and email-gateway layers, and search their logs for any user traffic to it since 2026-09-16.
