PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

liveblocksrefix.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself as RPC-Dapps, styled as a wallet repair or sync tool for crypto users. The subdomain name suggests fixing blocks or a stuck connection, which fits that premise. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-05. It has been offline since 2026-09-16, the hosting provider has blocked its content, and it was still down on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Pages named after RPC endpoints and dApps usually target people with a real wallet problem, such as a stuck transaction, a missing balance or a failed sync. They offer a one-click fix. The victim picks a wallet and is then asked to validate it, either by typing the recovery phrase or private key into a form or by approving a connection or signature request. A seed phrase hands over full control of every account derived from it, and a malicious approval lets the operator move tokens without asking again. In both cases the funds can be emptied within minutes, and on-chain transfers cannot be reversed.

Evidence

On 2026-09-17, ten of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the page. They included alphaMountain.ai, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, LevelBlue, Netcraft and Sophos. That is a modest share, but these vendors use separate detection pipelines, and their agreement with our classification counts for more than the raw ratio suggests. Among the blocklists we track, only PhishDestroy lists the domain.

Infrastructure

The page went up on 2026-09-04 as a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain, and PhishDestroy detected it the next day. It survived about twelve days before going offline. It was served from Cloudflare's network, with an address geolocated to Canada. Free pages.dev deployments cost nothing and take minutes to create, so the same lure can easily reappear under a new subdomain.

What to do

If you typed a recovery phrase or private key into this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet with a fresh seed and move any remaining assets there immediately. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, use a token-approval checker to revoke permissions you do not recognize, and review recent transactions for unexpected transfers. No legitimate wallet or dApp support tool will ever ask for your seed phrase. Defenders should block the domain and watch for new pages.dev subdomains that use RPC, dApp or fix wording, then report them to Cloudflare for quick removal.
