PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ledgre-secur.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that borrows Cloudflare's branding. Its name, a misspelled "ledgre-secur", suggests a hardware-wallet security theme aimed at crypto holders. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-17, the hosting provider has blocked its content, and it was still dead at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Pages like this dress themselves in a trusted brand so a visitor treats the prompts on screen as a routine security step. The usual sequence is a fake security check or verification screen, followed by a request for login details, a wallet connection, or a recovery phrase that hands the attacker control of the funds. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's own warning page rather than the original lure. We classified the domain as a Cloudflare impersonation phishing page.

Evidence

On VirusTotal, 13 of 89 engines flag the domain as of 2026-09-18. They include ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CyRadar and alphaMountain.ai, a spread of independent vendors rather than a single outlier. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to generic Cloudflare branding. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, which ties it to crypto-focused phishing.

Infrastructure

The project was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-09-05, only three days before PhishDestroy detected it. This short lifespan fits the throwaway pattern of free-hosting phishing. It resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated in Canada. The operator used a pages.dev subdomain instead of buying a lookalike domain, which let them inherit a familiar platform address at no cost. Roughly nine days after creation, the deployment was taken offline.

What to do

If you typed a password into this page, change it at once and turn on app-based 2FA. Also check any account that shares that password. If you entered a wallet recovery phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move the remaining funds to a new wallet created on a trusted device. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you do not recognise. Defenders should block the hostname and watch logs for earlier visits from 2026-09-05 onward. Expect similar misspelled security-themed subdomains on free hosting platforms, and report them to the provider for fast removal.
