PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

ledgre-dekstop-en.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page hosted on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain. Its hostname spells out a garbled "ledgre dekstop", which reads like a misspelled desktop wallet download page aimed at crypto users. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and its content was still blocked by the hosting provider at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Pages like this sit on a throwaway subdomain whose name resembles a trusted product. They are pushed through ads, search results or direct messages to people looking for wallet software. The visitor is typically asked to download a fake app or type in a recovery phrase or login details. Anyone who complies can lose their funds or accounts. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning interstitial rather than the original lure, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing with Cloudflare as the detected brand.

Evidence

On 2026-09-18, VirusTotal showed 12 of 89 engines flagging the site, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is a meaningful spread of independent vendors for a short-lived subdomain. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched generic Cloudflare branding. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users are already being warned away from it.

Infrastructure

The subdomain was created on 2026-08-29, only ten days before PhishDestroy detected it. It went dark roughly a week after that, which is the fast, disposable pattern typical of phishing on free hosting. It was registered through Cloudflare Pages and served from Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. Its certificate came from Google Trust Services, so a padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site was legitimate.

What to do

If you typed a recovery phrase on this site, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a newly created wallet immediately. If you downloaded software from it, remove the software and scan the device. If you entered a password, change it and enable two-factor authentication. Only install wallet apps from the vendor's official site. Defenders should block the hostname and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains that reuse the same misspelled naming.
