kta.network presents itself as 'Keeta', billing itself as a one-stop global investment platform covering forex, commodities, stocks, indices, cryptocurrencies, gold and oil. It targets retail investors seeking broad market exposure through a single online broker. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-08-26, and as of 2026-10-19 the site remains fully live with active content.

How the scam works

Fake investment platforms like Keeta lure victims by mimicking the look and language of regulated multi-asset brokers, promising easy access to global markets. Victims are encouraged to open accounts, deposit funds and watch fabricated portfolio gains climb on a dashboard they control. When a user attempts to withdraw, the platform invents fees, taxes or verification hurdles to delay and ultimately block any payout. The money deposited is never actually traded; it is simply taken.

Evidence

Five of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged kta.network as malicious as of 2026-10-07, with detections from alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Spamhaus DBL lists it under the DBL_PHISH category, and it has accumulated four threat-intelligence pulses on OTX. The domain appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, providing independent cross-industry confirmation of the threat.

Infrastructure
