PhishDestroy threat report
key.polymarket.hansfund.com is an impersonation phishing page posing as Polymarket, the crypto prediction market. Its page title is "Polymarket Desktop," which pitches a desktop version of the platform to traders who hold funds in crypto wallets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-07. When last checked on 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
A fake "desktop" edition of a crypto service is a common lure. It gives the victim a reason to download an installer or to connect a wallet outside the official website. Pages like this usually lead to one of two outcomes. A downloaded file installs software that steals saved wallets, browser sessions and passwords. Or a wallet prompt asks for a signature, a token approval or a recovery phrase, which hands control of the victim's funds to the operator. Either way, the loss is typically the crypto in the connected wallet and, with malware, anything else stored on the device.
On 2026-10-11, VirusTotal showed 6 of 92 engines flagging the site: ChainPatrol, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a small share of engines, so a clean result from a single scanner should not be read as a sign the page is safe. The site is also listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy. Those are crypto-focused feeds, and their listings carry weight for exactly the people this page targets.
The Polymarket name appears only in the subdomain. The registered domain is hansfund.com, which has no connection to Polymarket. That parent domain was registered on 2019-04-25 through TUCOWS.COM, CO., more than seven years before PhishDestroy first saw this page. The server sits on the IONOS SE network and is located in GB. The page has a Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is genuine.
If you downloaded anything from this page, do not run it. If you already did, treat the computer as compromised: move any crypto to a new wallet created on a clean device, then change passwords and reset 2FA for your exchange and email accounts. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke the token approvals granted during that session. If you typed in your recovery phrase, assume it is stolen and transfer your funds right away. Only use Polymarket through the address you already trust. Security teams should block the hostname and the parent domain hansfund.com, look for downloads from it in endpoint logs, and report the page to the hosting provider and the registrar.
