PhishDestroy threat report
graniteassets.capital is an impersonation phishing site that presents itself under the name "Graniteassets". The .capital extension and asset-management branding aim it at people looking for crypto investment services. MetaMask and SEAL have both listed it, which places it in the crypto-wallet threat space. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-09, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its phishing content live.
Impersonation sites like this borrow the look and language of a legitimate-seeming investment firm to win trust quickly. Victims are then usually pushed toward one of three things: creating an account and handing over login details, depositing funds into a "portfolio" they can never withdraw from, or connecting a crypto wallet and signing transactions that hand control of their tokens to the operators. With a polished "Graniteassets" front, the loss typically lands as deposited funds, compromised credentials, or a drained wallet.
Coverage from antivirus engines is still thin. VirusTotal showed 4 of 92 engines flagging the domain on 2026-10-17: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. The stronger signal comes from crypto-focused blocklists. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, two sources that specifically track threats to wallet users. It also appears in 2 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have independently tied it to malicious activity.
The domain was registered on 2026-07-07 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD., roughly three months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was prepared in advance rather than spun up and burned in a day. The site sits behind Cloudflare in the US, which hides the real origin server from public view. Abuse reports therefore need to go through Cloudflare's reporting channel to reach the actual host.
Do not deposit money or pay any "fee" or "tax" the site requests to unlock a balance, because these payments only add to the loss. If you entered a password there, change it wherever you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-management tool and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. Report any payments you already made to your bank or exchange right away. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to email and chat filters, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar so it is taken down.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
