gisnz.info is an impersonation phishing site that presents itself under the bare page title "Gisnz". It is built to pass as a legitimate service so crypto users will trust it with their credentials or wallet. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-23. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a service the victim already knows. They then ask for something only the real service should get. In the crypto space that usually means a login form, a seed phrase or recovery-key prompt, or a "connect wallet" button that leads to a signature request. Whatever the visitor types or signs goes straight to the operators. That can mean a hijacked account, a wallet emptied from a stolen recovery phrase, or a token approval that lets funds be pulled later. The generic "Gisnz" title gives no hint of the brand being copied, so the page itself is what does the deceiving.
Evidence
The classification has independent backing. On 2026-10-03, 12 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CyRadar and alphaMountain.ai. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, two lists maintained specifically for crypto threats. Four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it, so other researchers are tracking it too.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-17 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. It was flagged six days later, a short gap typical of throwaway phishing domains set up and used quickly. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. address space geolocated to Canada, which places it behind a proxy rather than showing where the real server sits.
What to do
If you entered a seed phrase or private key here, treat that wallet as compromised. Move any remaining funds to a new wallet created on a clean device. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognise. If you typed a password, change it everywhere it was reused and turn on app-based 2FA. Security teams should block gisnz.info at DNS and proxy level and watch for lookalike domains registered through the same channels.
