PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

fortnev.lol is a domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist that presents nothing but a page titled "Loading", with no visible brand or service behind it. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-06, less than four weeks after it was registered. The site was still online and serving live content when last checked on 2026-10-19. Visitors should treat it as untrusted until its purpose is clear.

How the scam works

A bare "Loading" title gives a visitor no hint of what the site offers. That is unusual for a legitimate service and common for pages that only reveal their real content once a script runs or a user interacts. The risk the evidence points to is a page that asks for something valuable, such as login details, personal information or access to a crypto wallet, after the visitor has already been drawn in. Anything typed or approved on such a page should be assumed to reach whoever runs the domain.

Evidence

On 2026-10-08, VirusTotal showed six of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but several of these vendors specialise in spotting newly created malicious infrastructure early, which fits a young domain. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, showing that other researchers have independently tracked it. Among blocklists, it is currently listed only by PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-12 through Global Domain Group LLC and was detected 24 days later. A short gap like this between registration and detection is typical of throwaway domains set up for a single campaign. It resolves to an address in Finland on the AS132359 network operated by M/S ROBI TRADERS. Its Let's Encrypt certificate means the browser shows a padlock, but that only confirms an encrypted connection and says nothing about whether the site is safe.

What to do

Do not enter credentials, personal data or wallet details on fortnev.lol. If you typed a password there, change it immediately wherever you reuse it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a newly created wallet. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level and check logs for any internal traffic to it since 2026-09-12.
