PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

fortcheack.me is an impersonation phishing page that poses as a legitimate service to trick crypto users into handing over access they would only give the real brand. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-16. On 2026-10-19 it was still online and serving live content. The browser tab shows only "Loading", while our classification is impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look of a service the victim already trusts. Visitors usually arrive through a link in a message, an ad or a search result. A blank-looking "Loading" screen fits the familiar pattern of a page that renders its fake interface only after it loads. The victim then enters a password, a one-time code or a wallet recovery phrase, believing it is a routine login or verification. Whatever is typed goes straight to the operator, who can take over the account or empty the wallet.

Evidence

On 2026-09-24, six of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, so many security tools will still let the site load without a warning. Spamhaus lists it in its Domain Block List as spam-related, which supports a malicious verdict from outside the phishing feeds. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, and PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-04 through Global Domain Group LLC and was flagged just 12 days later. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains. It resolves to 46.29.26.38 on the M/S ROBI TRADERS network in Turkey. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the padlock in the address bar only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you typed a password on this page, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that uses the same password. Then turn on or reset two-factor authentication and sign out of other sessions. If you entered a wallet recovery phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a newly created wallet from a clean device. Report the page to the brand it imitated. Security teams should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level, and check logs for users who reached it after 2026-09-04.
