PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

fnlobby.com is an impersonation phishing site, built to pass itself off as a service visitors already trust and to harvest what they type into it. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06, less than a week after the name was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the host still answered, but the domain's DNS was no longer serving the phishing content. A dormant domain like this can be pointed back at a live page at any time.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a real brand so that a visitor arriving from a link, ad or message assumes they are in the right place. The victim is then asked to log in, verify an account or confirm details, and everything entered goes straight to the operators. That typically means account credentials, one-time codes or payment information, which are then used to take over the real account. The page title shows only a generic "Loading" placeholder rather than branded content, while we classified the site as impersonation phishing.

Evidence

Six of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-12: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors, which is typical for a young phishing domain that most scanners have not yet reached. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity independently of PhishDestroy's own listing.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-30 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. and was caught six days later. That short gap fits a disposable domain set up for a quick campaign. It resolves to 46.29.26.38 on the M/S ROBI TRADERS network, which is registered in Bangladesh, while the server itself is geolocated in Finland.

What to do

If you entered a password on fnlobby.com, change it right away on the genuine service and on any other account that shares it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out other active sessions. If you supplied card or banking details, contact your bank to block the card and watch for unfamiliar charges. Treat any follow-up emails or messages referencing your "account verification" as part of the same attack. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level and search logs for past visits, and they should keep the domain on watch because it could be reactivated.
