Overview

fatowin.com presents itself as "Fatowin: Crypto Casino & Provably Fair Games", a gambling site aimed at players who bet with cryptocurrency. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page running the Gambler Scam kit, and first flagged it on 2026-10-04. The page title advertises a standalone casino brand, while our classification places it among sites that copy legitimate crypto casinos. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still reported alive, although its content was no longer resolving through DNS.

How the scam works

Gambler Scam kits produce polished casino storefronts with games, promo codes and a balance display, all controlled by the operator. Victims are typically pushed to register and claim a bonus, then see winnings appear that seem ready to cash out. Withdrawal is blocked until the player makes a "verification" deposit, pays a fee or meets a minimum top-up, and every coin sent goes straight to the scammers. The "provably fair" label in the title is borrowed from real crypto casinos to make the fake one look trustworthy.

Evidence

On 2026-10-06, nine of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including Kaspersky, Sophos, Netcraft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and alphaMountain.ai. That count is modest, but the vendors are independent of each other and all reached the same conclusion. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to its cryptoscam category. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-10-01 through Fewmoretaps OU (Trustname.com), only three days before PhishDestroy detected it. A domain that goes from registration to an active scam page that quickly is typical of disposable fraud sites built to collect deposits before anyone blocks them. The site was served from a German IP address on the ExpressHost Ltd network, which is registered in Great Britain.

What to do

If you deposited crypto on fatowin.com, stop sending money. Ignore any request for a withdrawal fee, tax or unlock deposit, because no payment will release the balance shown. Write down your transaction hashes and the receiving addresses, then report them to the exchange you sent from and to local police. If you reused a password when you signed up, change it everywhere you used it. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP, and watch for lookalike casino domains registered around the same time.
