PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

expressmail-delivery.site is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as a courier service, with the page title "expressmail delivery". It targets people who expect a parcel and are likely to trust a message about a delivery problem. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

Fake delivery pages like this usually start with a text or email claiming a package is on hold because of a missing address, failed delivery attempt or unpaid customs or redelivery fee. The link leads to a branded-looking page titled "expressmail delivery" that asks the visitor to confirm personal details and pay a small charge. The fee is the bait. What the operators want is the full name, address, phone number and payment card data typed into the form, which they can use for fraudulent charges or resell. Some versions also ask for a one-time bank code, which lets the criminals approve payments in the victim's name.

Evidence

Detection is still thin. On 2026-09-29, 3 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. It appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity, but PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it. Most browsers and security filters will not warn users before the page loads.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2024-11-11 through HOSTINGER operations, UAB, almost two years before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap points to a domain held in reserve or reused, not one spun up for a single campaign. It is hosted on Hostinger International Limited's network in Germany at 92.113.23.186. Its certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WR1), so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is a real courier.

What to do

If you entered card details on this page, call your bank now to block the card, dispute any unfamiliar charges and ask for a replacement. If you typed a one-time code or bank login, change that password and tell your bank. If you only gave personal details, expect follow-up scam texts and calls posing as couriers or banks, and never pay redelivery fees through links in messages. Check deliveries only through the carrier's official app or a site you type in yourself. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at mail and web gateways and search SMS and email logs for delivery lures linking to it.
