en-yoroi-wallet.com is a fraudulent site impersonating Yoroi Wallet, the legitimate Cardano ADA browser extension and mobile wallet developed by EMURGO. It targets Cardano holders and general crypto users who may be searching for the official Yoroi product. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-09-19, and as of 2026-10-18 the site remains live and serving active content.

How the scam works

The site presents itself under the page title "Yoroi Wallet – Secure Cardano (ADA) & Multi-Crypto Wallet," closely mimicking the branding and language of the genuine Yoroi product to appear trustworthy. Visitors are prompted to enter their wallet seed phrase or recovery mnemonic, typically under the pretense of restoring access, connecting a wallet, or resolving a fabricated error. Once submitted, that phrase gives the attackers complete and irreversible control over every address derived from it, allowing them to drain all associated funds across any supported network.

Evidence

Eleven of 91 engines on VirusTotal flagged this domain as malicious as of 2026-09-29, with detections from BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, and alphaMountain.ai among others. The domain appears on three independent blocklists: PhishDestroy, MetaMask, and SEAL. Spamhaus DBL classifies it as DBL_SPAM, a further signal of abusive use.
