Overview

ellevesta.cc is a domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist that crypto-focused lists also treat as dangerous. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09. The site was still up and serving content when we last checked on 2026-10-19, so anyone who reaches it can still interact with it. Its page title is simply "ellevesta" and gives no clue about which brand or service it presents itself as.

How the scam works

We have not yet pinned this domain to a specific scheme. Its listing by MetaMask and SEAL, two blocklists built to protect crypto users, points to a site that threatens wallet holders. Sites flagged this way typically ask visitors to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or approval, or enter a recovery phrase or login details, and that gives the operator control over funds or accounts. The safest assumption is that any wallet connection, signature or credential entered here could be used against you.

Evidence

Five of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-17: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but these vendors reached their verdicts independently, and most engines lag behind newly active sites. More telling is that MetaMask and SEAL both list it alongside PhishDestroy, which means MetaMask users should see a warning before the page loads. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-02-28 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., roughly seven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the name was registered early and held in reserve, or used quietly, before it drew attention. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocating to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden from view. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, which only proves the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

Do not connect a wallet, sign anything or type credentials on ellevesta.cc. If you connected a wallet, review its token approvals with a revocation tool and cancel any you do not recognise. If you entered a seed phrase, assume the wallet is compromised and move remaining assets to a new wallet created from a fresh phrase. If you entered a password, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and check logs for users who visited it on or after 2026-10-09.
