Overview

doakux.com presents itself as "Doakux: Most Popular Online Crypto Casino Based on Blockchain". PhishDestroy classifies it as a fraudulent gambling site aimed at people who want to bet with cryptocurrency. We first detected it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its casino content live, so it can still take deposits.

How the scam works

The site runs on a kit we track as Gambler Scam, which produces polished crypto casino fronts. Players are drawn in with bonuses, promo codes or easy early wins, then asked to fund an account by sending crypto to an address the operators control. Balances on the site can grow quickly, but cashing out fails. Victims are usually told to pay a "verification", tax or unlock fee first, and that money disappears along with the original deposit. Funds sent this way cannot be recovered.

Evidence

Nine of 89 VirusTotal engines flag the domain, including BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai and SOCRadar (checked 2026-09-12). That is a modest count, but the vendors are independent of one another. urlscan.io gives a malicious verdict and tags the page as a crypto scam. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing, and it is blocked by MetaMask and SEAL as well as PhishDestroy. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-06-04 through Fewmoretaps OU, which trades as Trustname.com. That is about three months before we detected it, enough time to build the site and start promoting it. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, Inc., with the address geolocated to Canada. Cloudflare's proxy hides the server that actually hosts the casino.

What to do

Do not deposit anything on doakux.com. If you already have, do not pay any fee to release a withdrawal, because each extra payment is simply taken too. Save your transaction hashes, deposit addresses and chat logs. Report the theft to your local police and to the exchange you sent the funds from, since exchanges can sometimes flag the receiving addresses. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for lookalike casino domains built on the same kit.
