PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

dexump.lol is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as Pump.fun, the memecoin launchpad, and even uses "Pump.fun" as its page title. The name blends "DEX" with "pump" so it looks like a trading front end for the same audience: people buying and launching tokens. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still listed as alive, but its DNS was no longer serving the phishing content.

How the scam works

Pages like this copy the look of Pump.fun so a trader who follows a promoted link believes they are on the real platform. The visitor is asked to connect a wallet to trade or claim tokens and is then shown a signature or approval request. That request is not a trade. It grants the attacker permission to move tokens or directly transfers assets out of the wallet. Once it is signed, the funds are usually gone within moments and cannot be recovered.

Evidence

On 2026-10-07, VirusTotal showed 7 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Kaspersky. That count is modest, but the vendors are mainstream and independent of one another. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to both the Pump.fun brand and a generic crypto phishing profile. The domain is also blocked by MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL in addition to PhishDestroy. Wallet-side protections therefore warn many users before they connect.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-04-15 through Global Domain Group LLC, almost six months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was held in reserve or used quietly before this campaign surfaced. It sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335, US), which masks the real origin server. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, and that padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to dexump.lol, revoke every approval and permission you granted there using a token-approval checker. If you signed anything you did not fully understand, move your remaining assets to a fresh wallet. Never enter a seed phrase on any site claiming to be Pump.fun, and reach the platform only through a bookmark you saved yourself. Security teams should block dexump.lol at DNS and proxy level. They should also watch for lookalike domains that pair "pump" with trading terms.
