crestbasepanel.com operated a seed phrase theft page under the name CrestBasePanel, targeting cryptocurrency wallet holders. PhishDestroy first identified it on 2026-09-10. The site has since gone offline; DNS became inactive and the domain was confirmed dead as of 2026-09-26, with that status verified on 2026-10-17.

How the scam works

Seed phrase theft pages present victims with a form or prompt that requests their wallet recovery phrase, typically under the pretense of support, verification, or wallet synchronization. Once a user submits their 12- or 24-word seed phrase, the attacker gains complete, irrevocable control over every asset in that wallet. The CrestBasePanel branding suggests a fake management or support panel interface designed to appear legitimate to wallet users seeking help.
