PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

creditpon.com is on the PhishDestroy blocklist and presents itself under the headline "Claim your $100 Dollar Tree Gift Card." It uses the Dollar Tree name to draw in shoppers with a free reward that has no visible connection to the retailer. PhishDestroy first saw the domain on 2026-10-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its content was serving a redirect.

How the scam works

PhishDestroy has not yet assigned this domain a scheme type, so the risk here is inferred from the lure itself. Free gift card claims that borrow a retailer's name usually ask the visitor to complete surveys, enter a name, address, email or phone number, or provide card details for a small "shipping" or "verification" charge. The promised card rarely appears. What people lose is personal data, a card number exposed to unauthorized charges, or a signup for recurring billing. Because the site redirects, visitors may land on a different page than the one that was advertised.

Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. That is a strong independent signal and it matches the impersonating headline. On 2026-10-07, VirusTotal showed 6 of 92 engines flagging it: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar.
