PhishDestroy threat report
catfee.network is an impersonation phishing site built around the CatFee name, aimed at crypto users who expect to reach the genuine service. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the domain was online and still serving content. Its page title reads "Problem loading page", a browser-style error message, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing.
Impersonation sites like this copy a known brand's name and look so visitors believe they are on the official platform. They then ask for whatever unlocks the victim's money, such as account logins, wallet recovery phrases, private keys or a direct payment presented as a routine service step. Anything entered goes straight to the operators. Stolen credentials or seed phrases let them empty accounts and wallets, and transfers sent to the site cannot be recovered.
On 2026-10-03, 7 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, LevelBlue, SOCRadar, URLQuery and VIPRE. That is a modest share, but these vendors reached their verdicts independently. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it. PhishDestroy is so far the only blocklist listing it, so many browsers and filters may still load the page without a warning.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-07 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD., about seven weeks before we detected it. It resolves to an IP on the IQWeb FZ-LLC network, registered in Belize, which is unrelated to the brand whose name it uses. The site has a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about who runs the site.
If you typed a password on catfee.network, change it on the real service and on any account where you reused it, then turn on app-based 2FA. If you entered a recovery phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a new wallet created on a trusted device. Do not send further payments to the site for any reason. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level and search logs for users who visited it.
For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
