PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

carpro-coin.net is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the name "CoinCarpro" to pass as a legitimate crypto platform and win the trust of coin holders and traders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-29. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content, so anyone searching for CoinCarpro can still land on it.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages like this copy the name and look of a crypto service so visitors believe they are on the real platform. The visitor is then pushed to sign in, connect a wallet or send funds to start trading or claim a balance. Credentials typed into the form go straight to the operators. A connected wallet can be asked to sign transactions or approvals that move tokens out. Deposits sent to the page's addresses are gone, and requests for extra "fees" to unlock a withdrawal are a common follow-up.

Evidence

Nine of 91 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious on 2026-10-01, among them BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a minority of engines, but it includes several major vendors that reached the same verdict independently. The domain is also on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, which means MetaMask users should get a warning before the page loads. One AlienVault OTX pulse references it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. on 2026-08-27, about a month before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a site set up quickly for a campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, so the network shown is a proxy layer rather than the operators' actual server.

What to do

If you entered a password or email here, change it on the genuine service and anywhere you reused it, and turn on app-based 2FA. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals with a trusted approval checker. If you want to be safe, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. Do not pay any "withdrawal" or "verification" fee the site or its contacts demand, because that money will be lost too. Defenders should block carpro-coin.net at DNS and proxy level, search logs for visits since 2026-09-29, and report it to Cloudflare and Gname.com for takedown.
